This shows gender by Katy waking up next to a guy. In today's society, girls get fun of for having head gear but one good friend comes and helps her out by throwing a party and dressing her up. Woman have to show there bodies off to be noticed by guys they like because they have to be wearing close that show a lot of skin or skin tight. This song shows that a girl has to throw a party to get a guy. Also, Katy is showing that all girls have inner beauty by not changing the way she looks. If I guy was singing this they would say he is not straight. Guys these days wouldn't drink about how crazy it was with glitter every where. Also, I don't think very much men dance on table tops. This song would not sell well if it was sung by the opposite sex because gay men are more betrayed in today's world.
